How To Play Age of Egypt
Before you start playing Age of Egypt, you might want to check out the game rules and information. To do this, click the (i) button on the bottom left of the screen.
The first thing to do is set your bet amount; you do this in the ‘Bet/Line’ part of the bar beneath the reels, and use the +/- to adjust your wager to your preference. The stakes range from £0.01 to £5. You can also choose the number of active paylines for each spin, this goes up to 20 paylines. You can increase or decrease the active lines by using the +/- button under the ‘Lines’ section.
Once you’ve set the bet amount and number of active paylines, you can go ahead and click the Spin button.
To form a winning combination, you have to land at least 3 identical symbols along an active payline. Wins are paid left to right, beginning with the leftmost reel.
The highest paying symbol in the game is the Wild, but among the regular symbols, the higher value ones are the Eye of Ra, the Egyptian falcon, and the scarab beetle. Whilst the lower paying symbols are the playing card symbols 10 - A.
The Pharaoh’s Sarcophagus symbol acts as the game’s Wild and can substitute for any symbol in the game other than the Anubis Bonus symbol and the Cleopatra Scatter symbol.

Anubis Bonus
Landing at least 3 Bonus symbols on a payline triggers the Anubis bonus.

If this bonus feature is activated by landing 4 or 5 Anubis Bonus symbols, you will be able to select 4 or 5 artefacts, respectively.
Royal Treasury Free Games
Landing 3 or more Cleopatra Scatter symbols anywhere on the reels in a spin triggers the Royal Treasury Free Games feature and awards 10 free games. There’s also no limit to the number of times you can retrigger this feature.
All wins in the Royal Treasury Free Games feature have a 3x multiplier applied to them, allowing for the chance for bigger wins.
You can trigger the Anubis Bonus during the free games. However, the 3x multiplier does not carry over into this bonus feature; it is only active during the free games.

Theme, Graphics & Soundtrack
The Age of Egypt slot has an aesthetically pleasing design with the backdrop of the desert and the rays from the setting sun illuminating the game as you play. The different background for each bonus feature is a nice touch, adding a bit more life to the slot.
As you would expect, the symbols in this slot are also tailored to reflect the Egypt theme, with symbols like the scarab beetle, the Eye of Ra, and the Egyptian falcon representing the god Horus. In addition to this, the Wild symbol is a golden Pharaoh’s Sarcophagus, resembling that of famous Pharaoh Tutankhamun, and the Scatter symbol is Cleopatra. Not to mention Anubis as the Bonus symbol.
The game’s graphics are crisp, and all the symbols are intricately designed with a high level of detail. The slot is lacking a bit on the animation side; they are rather simple, only really used through the slight movement and lighting up of winning symbols.
Furthermore, the Age of Egypt slot’s soundtrack features typically Arabian music playing in the background, fitting the theme nicely.
Age of Egypt Review Summary
Age of Egypt is a decent slot, the theme has been seen many times before, but the slot’s impressive stats help it stand out.
The bonus features provide some variation in the game and are rather generous. The Royal Treasury Free Games feature provides up to 10 free games with no limits on retriggering, and a 3x multiplier is active the whole time. The Anubis Bonus is a great addition, awarding cash prizes if you manage to trigger it.
